My verses aren’t haiku in the traditional sense of style and subject matter, though each verse is 5-7-5 syllables. A lot of it is pegged to the birthdays or deaths of musicians and other artists. Some is just what was on my mind after a walk, or in my heart after experiencing something or being reminded of something. I have no pretensions that this is timeless stuff — well, I guess I do about some of it, though some of it’s pretty disposable, too — but all of it is my stuff, and I think it is fun and hope it’s occasionally moving.
So fun to see this, Greg! I love reading your haikus…
Thanks, Kelley! More to come.
